No CAPEX from you applies to shared savings and energy supply contracting, where the capital sits with the contracting ESCO or funder. A guaranteed-savings contract is client-financed by definition. Innovast sizes the savings, sets the baseline to IPMVP, sources the counterparty and verifies the result. It does not own or operate plant, and it does not take the savings guarantee.

An audit is only as good as what was measured and for how long. Both are decisions, both are made before anyone arrives on site, and both are written into the engagement.

LoggingA Detailed Energy Audit logs on site for seven to fourteen days. An investment-grade audit logs for about thirty days, a full billing cycle, and that cycle becomes the baseline.
DataTwenty-four months of billing and tariff data for a preliminary audit. Thirty-six for a Detailed Energy Audit, and for the full EECA compliance package, because it contains one. Two full cycles is what turns a snapshot into a trend, and asking for more data is cheaper than measuring around a gap.
The twelve-month figure belongs to one thing only: the designated-consumer threshold test under regulation 3, which is assessed over twelve consecutive months across all applicable energy categories for an activity carried out in one place.

If your facility type is not on that list it is still worth a call. The measurement method does not change much between a chiller plant in a hotel and a chiller plant in a hospital.
An audit is a measurement.
If the instruments were hired, the baseline is someone else’s, and the report is signed by a name you cannot check, you have bought a document, not a measurement.
The preliminary audit is free. It is a desktop review of twenty-four months of your bills and your asset list, and a walk through the plant. At the end of it we will tell you whether there is a saving worth chasing, and whether we are prepared to guarantee the outcome on your site. Where we are not, we will say so before you spend anything.
